IMAGE OUTPUT DEVICE AND IMAGE OUTPUT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user friendliness in display or output of a 3D image signal or program information about a 3D image signal.

SOLUTION: An image output device which receives digital signals including program information and a 3D image signal comprises; a reception unit for receiving the digital signals including the program information and the 3D image signal; and an output unit for outputting a display screen signal of the program information. The display screen signal outputted by the output unit displays 3D depth information included in the program information.
