<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which is easy in handling and can detect sufficient drying of a sheet with higher accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recorder, a sheet is dried after the sheet is recorded by an ink discharged from a recording head before it is ejected. The inkjet recorder has a contact member which can be brought into contact with a recording region of the sheet in which a recorded image is formed. The inkjet recorder has a detection means to detect the change of test patterns between a test pattern after bringing the contact member into contact with the sheet in which the test pattern is recorded and a test pattern in the state of not being in contact with the contact member. The printer determines whether it is necessary to dry the sheet by a drying means depending on the change of the detected test patterns, and the sheet is dried at the recording in the same conditions thereafter depending on the results of the determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
