<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus for uniformly heating the whole heated object mainly of nearly spherical shape. <P>SOLUTION: The heating apparatus includes: a heating chamber 2 housing the heated objects 10; a door 5 provided in an openable/closable manner in the opening face of the heating chamber 2; a heater 4 and a heater 7 for heating the heated objects 10; a food placing tray 3 for placing the heated objects 10; and a plurality of support parts 6 provided on both side wall faces of the heating chamber 2 to place the food placing tray 3. One or more support parts 8 of cam shape out of the support parts 6 are rotated to move a part of the food placing tray 3 up and down in association with the rotation of the support parts 8 of cam shape. The heated objects 10 of nearly spherical shape thereby roll and move, and parts facing the heater 4 and heater 7 constantly change.
