<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treating agent that suppresses a hardened touch of hair and gives excellent softness. <P>SOLUTION: The hair treating agent is prepared by blending (A) baobab seed oil, (B) dimethylpolysiloxane, which shows a viscosity of 4,000 mPa s or more when the dimethylpolysiloxane is incorporated by 15 mass% into decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, and (C) a volatile silicone.
