METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECOGNIZING PLASMODIUM-INFECTED ERYTHROCYTE

A method for recognizing a plasmodium-infected erythrocyte comprises: obtaining a forward scattered light signal and a side scattered light signal of a cell in a sample, and a randomly selected fluorescence signal; obtaining a first 2D scatter diagram according to the forward scattered light signal and the side scattered light signal, or obtaining a 3D scatter diagram based on the forward scattered light signal, the side scattered light signal and the fluorescence signal; and recognizing a cell demonstrated in a preset area in the first 2D scatter diagram or the 3D scatter diagram as a plasmodium-infected erythrocyte. Also provided is a device for recognizing a plasmodium-infected erythrocyte. The method and device are both advantageous in having high recognition precision.
