PURPOSE: A base assembly for a motor and a fan motor including the same are provided to prevent noise by providing an attractive force across a rotor. CONSTITUTION: A holder has a stator. The stator provides rotary power to a rotary member. An extension member(710) is installed in the holder. The extension member is extended to an upper part of the stator. A suction magnet(700) prevents excessive levitation of the rotary member.
