The present invention relates to an automatic positioning antenna system for use in multi-satellite reception, and to a method for tracking satellites, which may track the position of a satellite through a satellite tracking LNB installed separately from a broadcasting LNB, recognize the current position through tracked satellite information, and move an antenna to the position of a target satellite to quickly receive satellite broadcasting. The automatic positioning antenna system for use in multi-satellite reception is characterized by including: an antenna part (100) in which a broadcasting LNB (121) receiving satellite broadcasting signals and a satellite tracking LNB (122) receiving satellite signals for tracking satellites are coupled to an antenna (110); a switching part (200) selecting the broadcasting LNB (121) or the satellite tracking LNB (122) of the antenna part (100); a control part (300) analyzing satellite signals received through the satellite tracking LNB (122) to track satellites and making the antenna part (100) face satellites by using the tracked satellite information; and a driving part (400) moving the antenna part (100) in response to the control of the control part (300). |
