<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of receiving signals of a plurality of broadcast schemes, without increasing the size and the cost thereof. <P>SOLUTION: An FEC part processes signals of a plurality of broadcast schemes, for example, an ISDB-S signal and a DVB-S2 signal etc. A RAM as a storage unit storing data is shared between byte de-interleaving etc. as first processing to process a signal of a prescribed broadcast scheme, such as ISDB-S, and LDPC decoding etc. as second processing to process a signal of another broadcast scheme, such as DVB-S2.
