PURPOSE: A structure of an outdoor side air flow of a window type air conditioner is provided to transmit air for heat exchange to a whole outdoor heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor heat exchanger is installed at a rear end of a cabinet for exchanging heat of an operating fluid of a heat exchange cycle with air sucked from the outside, wherein a height of the outdoor heat exchanger is higher than a width. A shroud(140) is installed in the cabinet, having a through hole part(141) guiding the air to the outdoor heat exchanger. An inner surface of the shroud corresponding to the upper part of the through hole part has a gap with the outdoor heat exchanger, which becomes narrower as the gap goes to the upper part. An outdoor fan unit(150) is installed in the through hole part for sucking the air in for passing the air through the outdoor heat exchanger to transmit the air to the outside. |
