<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle power supply system which, by improving the reliability of an integrated circuit, has made it possible to improve the reliability of a lithium battery cell controller and further the reliability of the on-vehicle power supply system. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle power supply system comprises: a lithium battery module composed of a plurality of lithium battery cell groups connected in series, a plurality of which are further connected in series; a plurality of integrated circuits which are installed one for one in each of the lithium battery cell groups; and transmission lines connecting each integrated circuit. The integrated circuits each include a selection circuit which selects the terminal voltage of each of the plurality of lithium battery cells, an analog digital converter which converts the selected terminal voltage into a digital value, a voltage generation circuit which generates a known voltage, and a digital generation circuit which generates a digital value representing a known relative magnitude of the known voltage. The digital value derived from the conversion and the digital value generated by the digital generation circuit are compared in a digital comparison circuit, and when the comparison result differs from the known relative magnitude, an error signal representing abnormality is sent out from the transmission line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
