<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine in which an EGR amount is increased without deteriorating a fuel efficiency in a low load region. <P>SOLUTION: The diesel engine 10 includes: a turbo-charger 20 including a turbine 22 driven by exhaust and a compressor 21 driven by the turbine and compressing fresh air; a first EGR device 60 for extracting part of an exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe line 42 on a downstream side of the turbine to introduce the gas into an intake pipe line 31 on an upstream side of the compressor; a second EGR device 90 for extracting part of the exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe line 41 on an upstream side of the turbine to introduce the gas into the intake pipe line on an upstream side of the compressor; and a controller 100 for switching the first EGR device and the second EGR device according to a load condition of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
