<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a high precision voltage to a load such as a CPU by maintaining a constant output voltage independently of changes in input voltage and inductor current, variations in switching frequency, inductor value and series equivalent parasitic resistance of an output capacitor, and an offset voltage of a comparator due to a manufacturing variation and a detection delay. <P>SOLUTION: A switching regulator for converting an input voltage to output a predetermined output voltage by means of a first switch element and a second switch element connected in series between the input voltage and a ground voltage includes: the comparator for comparing a reference voltage with a voltage proportional to the output voltage and outputting an output signal indicating the result of comparison; a switch element control circuit for controlling on or off the first switch element and the second switch element alternately in response to the output signal from the comparator; and an output voltage correction circuit for generating the reference voltage by negative feedback on the basis of a voltage output from a constant voltage source and the output voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
