<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor design device that can solve such a problem that there is no algorithm for automatically arranging cells with consideration given to importance of a signal, consequently an important line often becomes unnecessarily long and, when the important line is long, it may cause deterioration of the signal transmitting though the important line, and that can design a semiconductor device retaining the quality of a highly important signal by automatically disposing the cells with consideration given to the signal importance. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor design device includes: a line information extraction unit that extracts, from a plurality of signal lines for connecting a plurality of cells included in the semiconductor device, an important line to which important line information representing that the signal to be transmitted is important is added, and the number of connected cells representing the number of cells connected to each of the plurality of signal lines; and a cell automatic arrangement unit that determines the arrangement of the plurality of cells according to the important line and the number of connected cells that have been extracted by the line information extraction unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
