<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of performing continuous performances with high amusement in a game. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes a first start port and a second start pot. A first variable display holding part holds ball entrance into the first start port and a second variable display holding part holds ball entrance into the second start port. The holding of the second variable display holding part is more preferentially digested than the holding of the first variable display holding part. When a game ball enters the second start port under a predetermined condition after setting step-up continuous performances based on the result of preliminary determination by a preliminary determination unit, the game machine resets step-up continuous performances by setting a performance to be the next stage of the performance performed during the variable displaying when the ball enters as a performance in variable display based on the ball entrance.
