<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently retrieve information. <P>SOLUTION: A retrieval device (10) uses a display (30) and a touch panel (32) provided on a display screen to retrieve information (62) including a plurality of elements (i) stored in a memory (34). A CPU (24) determines a three dimensional position (xi, yi, zi) for each of the plurality of elements (S43-S47, S105), arranges a plurality of objects (Pi) respectively corresponding to the plurality of elements at the determined three dimensional positions, and displays a three dimensional object image 82 captured by a prescribed view point (P0) on the screen (S3). When an instruction operation is detected for instructing at least a direction on the touch panel, the three dimensional object image 82 is rotated (S25-S29, S73, S79-S83, S107).
