摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an EGR device with sufficient accuracy and also reduce cost by predicting opening of a valve of the EGR device without using a lift sensor. <P>SOLUTION: In an EGR system 10, in an inactive condition of an EGR device 20, by using the sensors 100-108, 130-134, the air intake state and intake air volume of an intake system 14, negative pressure of the air intake and/or engine revolution are detected, respectively. Based on the detected air intake state and the intake air volume, the negative pressure of the air intake and/or the engine revolution, an ECU110 predicts the opening of a valve 24 of the EGR device 20 using maps 138, 140, 144. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
