PURPOSE: A stopper for a tundish is provided to prevent the degradation of productivity by preventing the blockage of a submerged entry nozzle because the leakage of argon gas and the inflow of air can be prevented by improving sealing performance between a fire resistance frame and a coupling rod. CONSTITUTION: A stopper for a tundish comprises a fire resistance frame(110), a coupling rod(120), and an airtight unit(130). A vertical through-hole is formed inside the fire resistance frame. The coupling rod is coupled to the vertical through-hole through the upper end of the fire resistance frame and has an Ar gas injection hole. The airtight unit is arranged between the vertical through-hole and the coupling rod.
