PURPOSE: A slipping auger for a ground excavator is provided to decrease the risk of overturning by extending a caliber to the bottom of a fixed auger. CONSTITUTION: A slipping auger for a ground excavator comprises an auger(10), a screw rod, a caliber rotator(50), and a caliber(30). The caliber rotator is equipped in one lower end of the auger for rotating. The caliber rotator comprises a rotation key on the inner circumference. The caliber moves up and down on the inner circumference of the caliber rotator and rotates by the caliber rotator. The top of the auger is equipped with a caliber guide(20) which is longitudinally opened on one side.
