PURPOSE: A vehicle radar system and a method thereof are provided to control a radiation angle of an antenna by controlling a bending angle of a metal panel using electromagnetic force. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle radar system(10) includes a sensing module(100), a calculation module(200) and an antenna module(300). The sensing module senses vehicle information such as vehicle speed, height change, rotation direction, and the amount of rotation. The calculation module checks a reference direction of the vehicle in three-dimension using the vehicle information, and checks the amount of twisting of the radiation angle of the electromagnetic wave by checking a reflected wave of the transmitted electromagnetic wave, and outputs a signal compensating the amount of twisting. The antenna module enables the radiation angle to follow the reference direction, according as an antenna is bent by applying the electromagnetic force in correspondence to the signal to an antenna.
