PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure a large area by separately forming organic light emitting layers on two substrates. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(100) is classified into red, green, and blue sub pixels. A first switching element and a second switching element are formed in red and green sub pixel regions. A first positive electrode(120a) and a second positive electrode(120b) are connected to the first and second switching elements. A lower substrate includes a first organic light emitting layer(105). The first organic light emitting layer is formed on the front surface of the first substrate.
