PURPOSE: A thin film solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent a dead zone in a scribing region and to improve light conversion efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A back electrode layer(120) is formed on the upper part of a substrate. When the back electrode layer is patterned to form a back electrode, a rim part protrudes from a boundary of the back electrode. A light absorption layer(130) is formed on the upper part of a back contact electrode to expose the rim part to the outside. A front electrode(140) is formed on the upper part of the light absorption layer to be electrically connected to the rim part. The back contact electrode is electrically connected to the front electrode by using the rim part. |
