PURPOSE: A hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder is provided to selectively use a hydraulic cylinder and a pneumatic cylinder by installing the hydraulic cylinder inside the pneumatic cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder comprises a pneumatic piston(3) and a hydraulic piston(9). The pneumatic piston is installed inside a pneumatic cylinder(1) to form a pneumatic room(5) and is sealed by a packing(4) and a pneumatic cylinder sealing part(6). The hydraulic piston is inserted into a hydraulic room(8) formed in the pneumatic piston. The upper part of the hydraulic piston is sealed by a hydraulic cylinder sealing part(10). A hydraulic path(12) is formed at the center of an operation rod(11) connected to the hydraulic piston and is communicated with the hydraulic room. |
