The element has a layer (2) made of polymer material and a reinforcement element (4) drowned in the layer, where the element is formed in a shape of a grid extending inside the polymeric material of the layer. The element is impregnated by a thermosetting material. The thermosetting material is polymerized in contact with the polymeric material of the layer. The element includes fibers e.g. carbon, basalt and/or natural fibers, impregnated by the thermosetting material. The element is assembled with a non-woven fabric material layer drowned in the polymer material layer. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming a trimming element of a vehicle.
