PURPOSE: A heald with a thread-friendly thread eye is provided to exclude inserts for a heald body such as a heald rail by directly defining limitations by the heald body. CONSTITUTION: A heald with a thread-friendly thread eye comprises the thread eye which is arranged to accommodate warp yarn. The warp yarn passes through the thread eye and moves in a warp yarn direction(F). The thread eye has a limit by two thread supports(25) which are located in a longitudinal direction and spaced from each other at a constant distance. The thread support side is extended along a first side direction surface(33) and a second side direction surface(34). Each of the thread supporting sides has a first surface part(42) and a second surface part(43) which are connected to each other by a bent part(44) to remove steps and edges.
