<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electromagnetic relay capable of restraining impairing of reliability of a contact point. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay 1 comprises: an armature 16 swung by excitation and non-excitation of an electromagnetic block 10; a movable contact part 21 having a movable contact point 21a, mounted to the armature 16 and swinging together with swing of the armature 16; and a stationary contact part 22 having a stationary contact point 22a to and from which the movable contact point 21a approaches and is separated. The electromagnetic relay 1 is provided with magnetic field generation means 50 for forming an arc extension space S for extending an arc generated when the movable contact point 21a approaches to and is separated from the stationary contact point 22a on the electromagnetic relay 1, and for introducing the arc generated when the movable contact point 21a approaches to and is separated from the stationary contact point 22a to the arc extension space S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
