<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The sawing machine (10) has a main portion provided with a base plate (12), a motor propelled saw blade (15) and a guide device (9) for feeding the workpiece. The guide device is provided with a main parallel guide stop portion (18). An auxiliary parallel guide stop portion of the guide device is connected with the main parallel guide stop portion by a fixing unit in a releasable and tool-less manner. The fixing unit is designed as clamping device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Sawing machine e.g. stationary circular saw for sawing workpiece. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# Since the auxiliary parallel guide stop portion is connected with the main parallel guide stop portion, the blocking of the sawed-off workpiece portion between the saw blade and the main parallel guide stop portion can be prevented efficiently. The auxiliary parallel guide stop portion can be connected easily and rapidly with the main parallel guide stop portion without using screws.
