A THICK THERMAL BARRIER COATING LAYER HAVING INTERFACIAL STABILITY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A thick thermal shield coating layer with interfacial stability and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve interfacial stability between a bond coating layer and a thermal shielding top coating layer, thereby enhancing thermal stability and durability even in a high temperature environment. CONSTITUTION: A thick thermal shield coating layer with interfacial stability comprises a base metal layer, a bond coating layer, and a thermal shielding top coating. The base material layer is formed of a super alloy. The bond coating layer is formed of coating metal powder on the surface of the base material layer. The thermal shielding top coat layer is formed in a thickness of 1,500-2,000 micrometers on the surface of the bond coating layer. The bond coating layer and the thermal shielding top coating layer are formed by plasma heat treatment.
