<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfortable working space in a "noise rejection space" next to a "noise generating space" and to facilitate operation and maintenance of a noise generating source. <P>SOLUTION: Of four sides of a noise generating space A (a noise generating source 1 is a group of servers), two are sound proof walls 4 and the other two mark border lines 2 to a noise rejection space B (a). Sound absorbing partition panels 10 and sound insulating partition panels 12 of a vertical blind type are used. The sound absorbing partition panels 10 and the sound isolating partition panels 12 are hung from a ceiling surface 6 along the border lines 2 on the noise generating source side 1 and on the noise rejection space side B, respectively, such that an air space 14 of width L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is sandwiched therebetween. A clearance 23c and a clearance 24c are kept between the floor surface 8 and the lower end of each sound absorbing partition panel 10 and between the floor surface 8 and each sound insulating partition panel 12, respectively, while a clearance 23b and a clearance 24b are kept between the ceiling surface 6 and the upper end of each sound absorbing partition panel 10 and between the ceiling surface 6 and the upper end of each sound insulating partition panel 12, respectively (b).
