<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which has high productivity, has high surface hardness, suppresses retardation change caused by deterioration of light, is mounted with an image display apparatus having excellent image quality, and is suitable for thinning of a polarizing plate, with respect to a composite film having functions of a surface protection film and a retardation film. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical film which has an optical anisotropic layer and a hard coat layer in this order on one surface of a transparent support body, and in which the optical anisotropic layer and the hard coat layer are brought into direct contact with each other, the optical anisotropic layer is formed from a composition for forming an optical anisotropic layer containing a liquid crystal compound having an unsaturated double bond, has a film thickness of 3 to 30 μm, and has an in-plane retardation of 80 to 200 nm at the wavelength of 550 nm of the optical film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
