A method of data processing comprising a hub with a central hub computer 1.13 which is arranged to communicate with each of a plurality of spokes, each with a spoke computer 1.12. Each spoke is remote from the hub and from each other. The method comprises the step of receiving at the hub 1.13 a request from a user for the spoke 1.12 to run a data processing operation on accounting data of an organization hosting the spoke 1.12 and with the accounting data being locally accessible by the spoke. The hub 1.13 then communicates the request to the spoke 1.13 in response to receiving the request. The spoke 1.12 then runs the data processing operation on the accounting data, and returns the results of the data processing operation to the hub 1.13. |
