FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing hydrogen from water and can be used in chemical industry, for processing hydrocarbons, as well as in systems for accumulating and transporting energy and as fuel in transportation and fixed power installations. Catalytic steam conversion of methane-containing gas is carried out to obtain reaction products which contain hydrogen and carbon dioxide. A portion of hydrogen is separated from the rest of the reaction products. The rest of the reaction products are directed to production of synthesis gas and oxygen in a high-temperature electrochemical process, after which a methane-containing gas, which is returned to the beginning of the conversion process, is obtained from synthesis gas on a catalyst. The high-temperature electrochemical process is carried out while feeding the rest of the reaction products to the input of the cathode space of the high-temperature electrochemical process, while oxygen is extracted in the anode space which is separated from the cathode space by an electrolytic layer. The portion of hydrogen is separated from the rest of the reaction products by adsorption or membrane separation of gases.EFFECT: invention reduces heat expenditure at the process of obtaining hydrogen from water, and also provides efficient use of heat energy of the nuclear reactor.12 cl |
