The plate has an electric connection unit cooperating with another electric connection unit (230) that is connected to a removable base (200) to allow transmission of an electrical signal between the plate and the base. The former connection unit and a locking unit are arranged such that movement of the connection unit toward a disconnection position causes movement of the locking unit toward an unlocked position, and movement of the connection unit toward a connection position causes movement of the locking unit toward a locked position. An independent claim is also included for a fixation system for fixing electronic equipment to a wall.
