<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer bushing insulator for open air terminal that can have a fitting pitch of a support insulator set to be matched with an existent cradle, easily secures electric insulation of a cable terminal connection part, and is useful as a substitute for a current porcelain bushing, and the cable terminal connection part. <P>SOLUTION: A polymer bushing insulator for open air terminal includes a conductor lead-out rod electrically connected to a cable conductor of a power cable, an insulating cylinder formed integrally around an outer periphery of the conductor lead-out rod, a polymer coating body formed integrally around an outer periphery of the insulating cylinder, shield metal fittings formed on a rear-end side of the polymer coating body integrally with the insulating cylinder, lower metal fittings arranged on an outer periphery of a rear end of the insulating cylinder, and is installed on a cradle while electrically insulated through a support insulator. Further, the polymer bushing insulator for open air terminal includes a fitting flange for fixing a tip side of the support insulator, the tip part of the support insulator being positioned on a rear end side of the lower metal fittings when fixed to a rear end surface of the fitting flange. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
