<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture facility and a culture method for loaches capable of efficiently culturing the loaches. <P>SOLUTION: The culture facilities 10 for the loaches includes a feeding field region 11 having a recessed part 11A extended like a zone, a slope region 12 provided for at least one side along the extending direction of the feeding field region 11, and water plants 13 spreading their roots and growing in the slope region 12. The width W1 and the depth H1 of the recessed part 11A are 1 to 2 m and 0.4 to 1 m, respectively, and its bottom 11B is composed of silt or clay soil.
