<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive force transmission device, in which drag torque can be reduced and responsiveness of clutch operation in a clutch can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The drive force transmission device 1 includes: a housing 12 which is rotated by a drive source of a four-wheel drive vehicle; an inner shaft 13 which is disposed to be relatively rotatable along the rotation axis O in the housing 12; the clutch 8 which is interposed between the inner shaft 13 and the housing 12, and intermittently connects the housing 12 and the inner shaft 13; a first pressing force applying mechanism 15 which has a main piston 150 for applying a first pressing force P<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to the clutch 8; and a second pressing force applying mechanism 16 which is operated before the operation of the first pressing force applying mechanism 15, and has a pilot piston 160 applying a second pressing force P<SB POS="POST">2</SB>for reducing a clutch plate interval of the clutch 8 to the main piston 150. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
