<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate the band oppression of a communication network by suppressing flooding caused by registration by overwriting an MAC learning table. <P>SOLUTION: In a frame relay device, the MAC learning table, in which the correspondence of the transmission source address of an input frame to a port is stored, is searched for a data corresponding to the destination address of an output frame. The number of times of hit errors in the search result is counted for each destination address, so that the destination address having the number of times of hit errors to be a threshold or greater is detected. When a data corresponding to the detected destination address is registered in the MAC learning table, the data is protected from being overwritten and deleted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
