<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compaction method for a granulated substance, which enables efficient and solid compaction of the granulated substance. <P>SOLUTION: A compaction method for a granulated substance includes: a scattering step of forming a granulated substance layer 1 by scattering out the granulated substance 2 such as granular bentonite; a density increasing step of increasing granular density of the granulated substance layer 1 by applying vibrations to the granulated substance layer 1 by means of a vibration plate; and a compression step of compressing the granulated substance 2 by rolling the granulated substance layer 1 by means of a vibration roller or the vibration plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
