<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recommend an application meeting needs of a user even when the user has little experience in using application markets and/or applications. <P>SOLUTION: An application recommendation device comprises: an acquisition unit for acquiring metadata of contents from a database storing backup data of the contents stored in a user device; score calculation unit for calculating scores of respective applications by using metadata acquired by the acquisition unit; a recommendation application determination unit for determining an application to be recommended to a user of the user device on the basis of the scores of the respective applications; and a communication unit for notifying the user device of the determined application to be recommended via a network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
