<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver in which, when contents of ten stories or more are sorted in an order of titles, contents can be list-displayed surely in the order of stories or series. <P>SOLUTION: From content information containing a broadcast number of a content recorded or to be recorded in a recorder 23, a television receiver 1 checks the number of times of broadcasting the recorded contents or contents combining the recorded contents and recording scheduled contents to be recorded. On the basis of the number of times of broadcasting the contents, it is determined whether or not it is necessary to correct the broadcast number for the recorded contents.
