The bed (1) has a rectangular frame (2) including two longitudinal members (11, 12) and two cross-pieces (13, 14) connecting the longitudinal members to each other near respective ends, where a mattress (3) is carried by the frame. A removable transport trolley (25) is partly retractable into the frame between a retracted position and an extended position, where the transport trolley receives the frame and the mattress, which are adjusted to be moved by the trolley. The trolley includes a lower portion carrying casters (27, 28), and an upper portion pivotally mounted on the lower portion. |
