<p>The balancing circuitry (10) has two electric switching elements (38,40) connected in a parallel branch to the intermediate-circuit capacitors (12,14). The center between intermediate-circuit capacitors and a center tap between the switching elements are connected by an inductor (42). A pulse rate is more applicable to one of the switching elements and one of the capacitors is partially discharged during the respective pulse duration of the inductor and the respective switching element, at the time of voltage increase on one of the capacitors. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method of operating balancing circuitry; and (2) an indirect converter.</p> |
