<p>The inverter has primary half-bridges (11,12) which are connected between upper intermediate circuit rail (3a) and lower intermediate circuit rail (3b). The secondary half-bridges (13,14) are connected between the intermediate circuit rails. A primary throttle (20) connects the output of primary half-bridges with terminal post (26) having alternating voltage. A secondary throttle (22) connects the output of secondary half-bridges with terminal post (25) having alternating voltage. One of the throttles saturates at a lower power and/or has higher switching losses than other throttle. An independent claim is included for method for operating inverter.</p> |
