PURPOSE: A slide moving device of a vehicle seat and a gear box for the same are provided to minimize the damage of a gear box for protecting a passenger. CONSTITUTION: A slide moving device of a vehicle seat comprises a pair of screw bars(10), a pair of gear boxes(100), a rotary shaft(20), a driving motor(30), and a stopper(40). The screw bars are fixed in a vehicle body and a male screw thread is formed on the exterior of the screw bar. The gear boxes are moved along the screw bars. The rotary shaft transfers driving torque to the gear boxes. The driving motor drives rotary shaft. The stopper is installed in the screw bar to restrict the moving stroke of the gear boxes. |
