<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce risk that an electrode group moves to a sealing plate side and blocks a gas discharging hole formed on the sealing plate accompanying discharge of large amount of gas generated inside of a battery to outside in an abnormal case. <P>SOLUTION: At least one projection is formed inside wall of a battery case and arranged so as to abut against the battery group and fix the battery group. Therefore, movement of the battery group is suppressed due to biting of the projection into the electrode group when the electrode group moves toward the sealing plate. Thereby, a gas discharging passage is secured and gas can be quickly discharged outside of the battery case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
