<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping structure for a steering wheel enabling an elastic member to be attached with its movement regulated by performing simple work. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration damping structure for the steering wheel includes a core metal (fixed member) 12, an airbag device 20, the elastic member 42 and a horn switch mechanism 15. The airbag device 20 functions as a damper mass of a dynamic damper, and the elastic member 42 functions as a spring of the dynamic damper. A cap member 33 of the horn switch mechanism 15 has a side wall part 33b extended forward from a top plate part 33a. A fitted part 21j extended backward is formed in a circumferential edge part of an attachment hole 21e of a back holder 21 of the airbag device 20. The elastic member 42 includes a fitting part 42a constituted by a recession opened in a front surface thereof. The elastic member 42 is sandwiched from the front and the rear by the fitted part 21j of the back holder 21 fitted to the fitting part 42a and the side wall part 33b of the cap member 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
