<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an appropriate push-in amount that reflects the physical property of a workpiece even if the shape of a component is complicated. <P>SOLUTION: Stress (shear stress) applied to the workpiece in a first workpiece bending process is measured, and a sample having a physical property close to the workpiece is specified based on stress τ1 at this time and stress curves of a plurality of samples with different physical properties.
