<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision avoiding method for sending data from multiple wireless tire condition sensors and effectively avoiding data collisions on the receiving end. <P>SOLUTION: A method for avoiding transmission collision for transmitting data from multiple wireless tire condition sensors on a vehicle is executed by wireless tire condition sensors having a unique ID and a plurality of different wakeup times. After the operation of the sensors for sensing data, the method includes the steps of: reading an ID; calculating a determination value on the basis of the ID and variables; selecting one of the wakeup times in accordance with the determination value; and transmitting the sensed data after the lapse of the selected wakeup time. Since the selected wakeup times of the sensors are different from each other, it is possible to avoid data collision on the receiving side that is caused by data transmission from the sensors. Furthermore, it is possible to use not only the wakeup time but also a time gap between two pieces of data transmitted consecutively from each sensor in order to avoid data collision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
