摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus advantageous in achieving an angle of view at a wide angle end and brightness, and maintaining optical performance. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a zoom lens including a reflection member having one reflection surface on which an optical path is reflected; and an imaging device including an imaging surface arranged on an image side of the zoom lens, and receiving an image through the zoom lens to convert the image into an electric signal. The zoom lens includes, in order from an object side to the image side, a first lens group provided with the reflection member and having negative refractive power, a second lens group having positive refractive power, a third lens group having negative refractive power, and a fourth lens group having positive refractive power. When the zoom lens zooms from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, the second lens group moves only toward the object side so as to approach the first lens group. A distance between the second lens group and the third lens group and a distance between the third lens group and the fourth lens group vary.
