<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine with a supercharger capable of reducing white smoke and a stimulative smell generated when starting at a low temperature by using EGR gas. <P>SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine 1A includes the supercharger 40, an EGR line 50, a bypass line 55 and a switching valve 58. The bypass line 55 is connected at one end between an exhaust gas post-treatment device 60 and an EGR cooler 53 on the downstream side of the device 60 with respect to the exhaust gas flow direction of the EGR line 50, and connected at the other end part to the downstream side in the suction air flow direction more than an intercooler 25 of an intake line 20. The switching valve 58 can be switched to a state of cutting off a flow of exhaust gas to the EGR cooler 53 in the EGR line 50 and allowing the flow of exhaust gas to the bypass line 55 or a state of allowing the flow of exhaust gas to the EGR cooler 53 in the EGR line 50 and cutting off the flow of exhaust gas to the bypass line 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
