<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a tool for a press working die, which is invented by studying a method of forming a DLC film, in which the DLC film can be present on a working surface of a tool for a press working die after completion of polishing, and which can form the DLC films having substantially identical properties on a side surface and the working surface of the tool for the press working die. <P>SOLUTION: The repairing method for a tool for press working die for molding or punching a workpiece by press working includes a step of polishing a working surface 43b of an abraded tool for the press working die 43, a step of protecting a side surface 43a of the tool for the press working die 43 by a masking material 10, and a step of forming a DLC film 41 on the polished working surface 43b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
